Pitch Party
Share Your Idea. Get Feedback. Move Forward.
Where Conservation Ideas Take Shape
The LSC Pitch Party is a recurring forum where partners and community members bring early-stage project ideas and leave with feedback, connections, and momentum.
Rather than functioning as a grant application, the Pitch Party is a space where concepts are strengthened, vetted through the Collaborative, and connected to the Collaborative's conservation priorities and regional funding opportunities.
Anyone with a project idea at any stage is welcome to submit.
Submit a Project Idea
Project ideas are collected on a rolling basis. Pitch sessions are typically organized in spring but can be convened anytime in response to emerging needs or opportunities.
Building a Ready Pipeline of Projects
Conservation funding moves fast. The Pitch Party helps projects get ready before the opportunity arrives — and builds the network of people who can help make them happen.
Visibility & Champions
Pitching your idea puts it in front of partners, funders, and technical experts who can champion your project, recommend funding sources, or step in as collaborators.
Connected to Regional Priorities
Projects are aligned with the Collaborative's Conservation Blueprint, making them competitive for regional and federal funding and well-positioned within the broader conservation landscape.
Ready When Funding Moves Fast
When short-timeline funding drops or priorities shift, pitch-vetted projects are ready to respond. Many projects find partners or start moving forward before their session even ends.
The Process
Submit Your Idea
Fill out the project submission form with your concept at any stage — early, developing, or well-formed. No polished proposal needed.
Pitch & Get Feedback
Present your idea to a curated panel of relevant partners, funders, and technical experts assembled specifically for your pitch.
Move Forward
Projects gain momentum as awareness grows. New partnerships form, barriers get addressed, and many ideas start moving toward implementation — often before the session wraps up.
